Catering

We believe great food is part of a great getaway. At Camp Hillcrest, we offer delicious, hassle-free catering options to make your stay even more relaxing.

Evening Meals

Let us take care of dinner with a selection of comforting evening meals. For example, our popular meat or veggie chilli is always a hit — hearty, flavourful, and served with all the trimmings. Just ask us about the options during your stay.

Breakfast (£8 per person)

Start your morning right with a locally sourced breakfast featuring fresh ingredients from nearby producers. Think eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, and veggie options too.

Wood-Fired Pizza Nights (£10 per person, minimum 4 guests)

Gather around the fire for our ever-popular wood-fired pizza nights. You choose the toppings, we fire up the oven — it’s a relaxed, fun way to spend an evening under the stars.

Perched in a prime spot, the tub offers stunning views over the estuary and surrounding countryside — perfect for sunrise serenity or sunset sessions under the stars.

Get creative with our hands-on spray can graffiti workshop — a fun and unique activity for kids, teens, and adults alike. Learn the basics of street art and stencil work, then design and take home your very own custom bedroom door sign.

No experience needed, just bring your imagination.

£20 per person – all materials included, and you get to keep your masterpiece.

Canoe Trips

Canoe hire from Monmouth. Paddlers starting from Monmouth will experience the stunning lower Wye Valley, on the edge of the Forest of Dean which is one of the quietest and least used stretches of the river Wye. Once out of Monmouth the river is plunged into a steep-sided wooded valley where deer, wild boar and other wildlife is often spotted. This stretch of water is good for beginners and has some exciting sections along the way. The route passes Redbrook village which is around half way and a good place to stop for a quick drink or pub lunch at either the Boat Inn or The Bell.

We were delighted to meet the hosts, very relaxed kind people. They did more than we expected of them and the whole site was interesting. We would love to go back with our children as there is so much to do. We had an amazing time away there together for a get away time

Corinna made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. The converted Horsebox we stayed in was magical and cozy. My daughter and I had an amazing time, chilling in the hot tub, climbing the forest netting, eating marshmallows by the campfire, walking the area and skateboarding in the park on site. If Corinna will have us, we will be returning for years to come!!

Another great stay at Camp Hillcrest, it’s a beautiful spot with wonderful views towards the Severn estuary.

There’s plenty of great walking straight from the location, St Brevials is close by and has a shop and pub etc.

A lovely, peaceful stay. We came as a little mother/daughter getaway and couldn’t have felt closer to nature if we tried (exactly what we wanted!). Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Clean space. Very unique and quirky - great for anyone looking for a slightly different stay. Thank you.

Amazing place, we will definitely be back! Very spacious private accommodation. Lots to do onsite and nearby for the kids. Local walking and mountain biking is great and the place itself has big indoor and outdoor spaces (including the skate park) which could keep them occupied for hours. Dogs (very friendly), goats and pigs an added bonus :-) Cannot recommend highly enough for young families who enjoy spending time in the outdoors.

If you are looking for a nice and peaceful, down to earth place, Corina’s Camp Hilcrest fits the bill. We went in January for a nights stay over with our kids on the way to Cornwall and it was great. Spacious place, amazing views, animals nearby for the kids and Corrina was an amazing host who really looked after us! (And a great chef!).
