If you are looking for a nice and peaceful, down to earth place, Corina’s Camp Hilcrest fits the bill. We went in January for a nights stay over with our kids on the way to Cornwall and it was great. Spacious place, amazing views, animals nearby for the kids and Corrina was an amazing host who really looked after us! (And a great chef!).

We stayed only for night as we were passing through on our long walk. The flat was perfect for a place a to rest and cater for ourselves foodwise, along witha cosy fire. Corinna responded quickly to questions and was friendly. We hope to come back with more friends and check out some of the activities on offer.

Amazing place, we will definitely be back! Very spacious private accommodation. Lots to do onsite and nearby for the kids. Local walking and mountain biking is great and the place itself has big indoor and outdoor spaces (including the skate park) which could keep them occupied for hours. Dogs (very friendly), goats and pigs an added bonus :-) Cannot recommend highly enough for young families who enjoy spending time in the outdoors.
