Self Contained Space

For those looking to enjoy the facilities of camp Hillcrest but have their own private space, or simply a rural getaway to appreciate the Wye Valley. This accommodation can be booked in addition to the bunkhouse or separately - hot tub at extra cost. Horsebox has own private outdoor shower and compost toilet the outside spaces are shared with other guests.

Pets accepted but dogs not used to livestock or friendly with other dogs to be kept on leads. Horsebox is comfortable and cosy but this is indoor/outdoor living. There may well be stray leaves and spiders!!

Animal and Child Friendly

Hillcrest is in a beautiful rural setting but there are often lots of people about enjoying the place so don't expect completely private tranquillity. We pride ourselves on being an excellent and fun venue for children and teenagers. With this in mind please don't expect high end glamping or hotel experience!

Any questions please ask before booking to avoid disappointment. There are two (free range) dogs, a cat, pigs and chickens on site.

Private Hot Tub - (optional extra)

Your stay in the Horsebox can be upgraded to include exclusive use of your own hot tub (separate from the main hot tub). For just £100 extra, you'll arrive on your check-in day to find your hot tub pre-heated and ready to enjoy, with enough wood for 2 days. Additional wood only £10 per crate. You can order the hot tub when you make your booking, or add it to your stay in the Horsebox after you've booked by contacting us.

Bunkhouse at Camp Hillcrest

Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is situated in the beautiful Wye Valley just off Offa's Dyke and sleeps up to 16 people. You can book the whole bunkhouse, one of the rooms or just a single bunk. We have 2 dorms - one sleeps 8 and the other sleeps 5 - plus a double room with disabled access that sleeps up to 3 people.

We were so happy to be in cosy beds with a lovely fire after camping in zero degrees! Corinna kindly let us park or car early so we could do a massive hike and the fire pit and sunset bench with the owls and the dogs were awesome!

Corinna made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. The converted Horsebox we stayed in was magical and cozy. My daughter and I had an amazing time, chilling in the hot tub, climbing the forest netting, eating marshmallows by the campfire, walking the area and skateboarding in the park on site. If Corinna will have us, we will be returning for years to come!!
